It is time for episode 3 of The K-Beauty Podcast, and today I will talk a bit (or a lot…) about how to build your own K-beauty skincare routine! This should, hopefully, be especially helpful to beginners and newbies to the world of Asian beauty and alleviate some of the anxiety people feel when faced with bloggers’ elaborate, multi-step skincare routines…

The K-Beauty Podcast Building Your K-Beauty Skincare Routine

Three weeks of podcasting and I still feel like I have no idea if what I am doing is in any way useful to you guys – but, hope springs eternal, and so here we go with episode 3 of The K-Beauty Podcast! Today’s episode is all about how to build your own K-beauty skincare routine, a sort of “beginner’s guide” on how to start delving into the beautiful world of Asian skincare. I get asked a lot about this by people who are new to K-beauty, so I felt it would make a useful podcast topic. Some of the questions discussed today:

  • How do I start out with my Korean beauty routine?
  • Do I need to buy ALL of the products for ALL the 10 steps at once?
  • What should I buy first?
  • What are good beginner product recommendations?

Here is episode THREE of The K-Beauty Podcast:

Episode Notes: How to Build Your K-beauty Skincare Routine

Cautious suggestions when it comes to introducing new products into your skincare routine:

  • Patch test first before you put something new on your face
  • Try NOT to start using a number of new products at the same time
  • Start slowly, introducing each product one by one to see how your skin reacts to each indivuídually
  • Resist the urge to haul “all of the things” at once and pay close attention to your skin’s needs
