This article contains affiliate links* The Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 is finally here, and of course I will yet again do my best to help you find the biggest bargains in what is basically the biggest K-beauty sale of the year!
The day is finally here, and I am so excited: the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 is always a bit special to me, maybe because the good people at the Wish company tend to really pour their hearts into giving us a variety of excellent deals. This, to me, is pretty much the biggest and usually best sale of the year if you are a lover of Korean beauty.
Wishtrend, after all, is the company behind such beloved brands as Klairs, By Wishtrend, and I’m from – who would want to miss a deal on these three awesome K-beauty stars? Now, to be fair, and in order to make sure I emphasise this before we dive into the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 details: there are, of course, always other chances to catch a good sale throughout the year, so don’t panic if you cannot partake in this week of sales.
I noticed that this year in particular, a lot of “minimalist” style influencers are having a bit of a tediously preachy tone around Black Friday and about people making use of sales, and it honestly makes me feel a little exasperated. It’s great that successful influencers have enough money and privilege to only shop from small, eco-friendly, perfectly ethical brands, but not everyone has the money to buy their artisanal, small batch, organic, hand-crafted skincare for 200$ a pot year round.
Some of us are dependent on a good sale in order to have a chance at having good skin like those privileged influencers, and I think all of you reading here are adult enough to decide for yourself whether or not you actually need the things you buy. I trust in your ability to shop responsibly, and don’t feel the need to chide you like little children if, god forbid, you have a bit of fun treating yourself to some new Klairs products.
So, here is my overview of the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020: First, I’ll give you a run down of the deals and special discount codes available for you. Since some of you might be overwhelmed about what to buy, I also share my personal top 10 of what products to buy from the various Wishtrend brands, including those that are on my own wish list. If other, non-Wishtrend brands are on your Black Friday shopping wish list, I also recommend for you to check out my list of all K-beauty Black Friday sales for 2020.
Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020: List of all Deals, Benefits and Timeline of Offers
How long does the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 last?
The Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 starts today (23 Nov) and runs through till Sunday 29 Nov. This sale is followed directly by the Wishtrend Cyber Monday Sale, which still offers a number of good discounts, but from my experience tends to be a bit less exciting, and there is also usually not much product left. So, if you can, I would shop during the Black Friday sales period!
Your Sales Benefits during the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020
So, deals and discounts are pretty streamlined this year for the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale: basically, everything is discounted at a rate of up to 40%, though discounts differ for each brand:
- Klairs products are generally off by 30%, the smaller Klairs sets* are usually around 35%, while large sets* can be discounted by up to 46%.
- By Wishtrend products are generally 40% off, some products and brands sets* are even discounted by up to 46%.
- I’m from products are discounted by 40%, and again you can get bigger discounts of up to 46% when choosing sets such as this awesome I’m from mask trio.*
- Rovectin – this newer Korean beauty brand is now available at Wishtrend, and for their Black Friday sale, all products are sold at with a juicy 40% discount. Again, if you decide to buy one of the larger sets*, you can get a 46% discount. I wrote about my thoughts on a number of Rovectin products on the blog a while ago!
- Cosrx is also still available at Wishtrend, though usually sells out fast during the Black Friday sale! Cosrx products are discounted by 40%!
- If LED light therapy is something you are curious about, you could also snatch up the Eclair LED Therapy Mask* for 102$ instead of the usual 170$, a 40% discount.
On top of that, you may also profit from the following coupon deals:
- Use code “GOODSKINAHEAD” on orders over 300$ to receive 20% extra discount on your order
- You can also use my affiliate coupon code “ULRIKE15” for 15% off – it may not work for all the products, as I suspect heavily discounted deals are excluded, but do try your luck!
Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020: New Product Launches and Special Black Friday Set Deals
Two new product launches have been dropped this month, and even though sadly they aren’t as well-discounted as I would have liked to see for the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020, I still wanted to include them here. The super popular – and indeed excellent – I’m from Rice Toner* (currently available for only 16.80$ instead of the regular 28$) has two new siblings that sound amazing for sensitive skin: the I’m from Rice Serum* and the I’m from Rice Cream*, both can be purchased with a somewhat measly 5% discount. Sigh.
If you are interested in these two products and potentially in a few other Klairs and By Wishtrend goodies, you can get a much better deal by purchasing the Gothamista 2020 Holiday Box of Wishes*, which retails at 69.90$ (a 49% discount). It contains both the new Rice Serum and Rice Cream, plus my beloved Rovectin toner, the new Klairs cleansing oil, and the Klairs all-over lotion. From how I understand it, you also get a free cloth mask and the Klairs Mid Day Blue UV shield as a gift, though I’m not sure if this is limited to the first purchasers or not? Unclear, but it is a great deal in any case! You can even choose to get the Gothamista holiday skincare box from 2018, which was an even better deal in my eyes.
There is also a very special promo happening on the 24 Nov, connected to the Wishtrend Youtube channel: during a two day period, you can get special 48h sets and a select number of Wishtrend products for an even better discount, so it may be worth waiting until then. Among the heavily discounted products is, for instance, my beloved Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream* (60% off!), the Klairs Mid Day UV Shield* (60% off – read my review here) and the Wish, Try, Love boxes* (50% off). These apparently are strongly limited stock deals, so you may have to be quick to grab them.
Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020: My Top 10 Picks and Wish List Items!
This year, for the first time in a while, I actually have a tiny bit of spending money to partake in the Wishtrend Black Friday 2020 shopping joy. Of course, my wish list is always longer than my wallet will allow, but it can’t hurt to shoot for the stars, I’d say. And, well, there is no shame in sharing my top 10 picks from the Wishtrend Black Friday sale 2020 with you – whether I myself can actually snatch all of these up or not!
Many of these K-beauty favourites have been reviewed on this blog, and they have remained constant, deep loves of mine for a long, long time now. Wishtrend just produces some absolutely stellar K-beauty forever faves!
1. Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop
This beautiful facial serum with a very special “oil-like” texture that feels absolutely incredible on the skin has been my constant companion since the summer. It comes in a large 50ml bottle, which lasts forever, since you really only need a few drops for each use. I love to layer this between my toner and serum, or if I use two serums, in-between those. Enriched with green tea water and a number of humectants, this light, fragrance- and alcohol-free serum is hydrating, gentle and plumping. You can purchase the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop* for 21.70$ instead of the regular 31.00$!
2. Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream
Another amazing product from the Klairs Fundamental line which has been blowing me away this year! I’ve almost used up my first jar of this water gel cream, and am about to dip into my second – that’s how much I love it. This runny, gel-textured cream manages to be a perfect balance of light and rich, and is thus ideal for dehydrated combo skin. Oily skin will also love this as a winter moisturiser, as will anyone looking for a gentle, soothing and richly hydrating moisturiser. I raved about this in my review article, and still use it almost every morning. You can get the large 70ml jar Klairs Fundamental Water Gel Cream* for 21.70$ instead of the regular 31.00$.
3. Klairs Fundamental Eye Care Set
I recently tried a little sample of the Klairs Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter* and really liked it, so now I am eyeing up the Klairs Fundamental Eye Care Set*, which also contains the Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel,* a hydrating eye gel that contains anti aging peptides and antioxidant green tea extract, plus revitalising caffeine. Since the Eye Awakening Gel is very light, I feel that especially for winter, I will need a thicker cream to layer on top of the gel, thus creating a perfect nourishing anti aging duo for my eye area. The Klairs Fundamental Eye Care Set* retails for only 31.20$ instead of 48$, meaning you can get it with a generous 35% discount.
4. Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence SPF50+
This still remains one of the best sunscreens I’ve ever tried, hands down! The texture is simply unrivalled in how light and pleasant it feels on the skin, and the light, but hydrating lotion-style formula works for a multitude of skin types. I wrote a full review of this sunscreen a while ago, and it remains one of my most-read reviews, which I would say shows how popular the product is to this day! You can get the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence* for 16.10$ instead of the regular 23$ during the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 – this is for a large 80ml tube, so it lasts for a while even with daily use and dilligent re-application!
5. By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule
Oh how I adore this propolis ampoule – so much so that I even dared to call it “the best propolis ampoule” in my review article about the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis 15% Ampoule. If you don’t do well with the heavier, higher dosage propolis ampoules, which are often better suited for dryer skin types, then this could be a great choice for you – it definitely was for me! I emptied my bottle of the ampoule a while ago, and I really can’t wait to re-stock it on my vanity, as my skin misses its soothing, glow-giving and smoothing magic. You can purchase the By Wishtrend Polyphenols in Propolis Ampoule* for currently only 19.20$ instead of 32$, an awesome 40% discount.
6. I’m from Fig Boosting Essence
I had mixed feelings about the I’m from Fig trio, and thus my review article about the products was also a mix of excitement and less enthusiastic feelings. The one product from the fig line I really love is the I’m from Fig Boosting Essence.* I’m almost done with my bottle, and especially during summer I really appreciated the light texture, which still felt super hydrating on my heated skin. This, to me, isn’t really an essence, but rather a hydrating toner, which works great for dry skin that doesn’t want those sometimes cloying, thicker-textured toners. The I’m from Fig Boosting Essence has a watery, milky texture and is free from alcohol, enriched with antioxidant fig extract and humectants glycerin plus hyaluronic acid. You can purchase this essence-toner hybrid* for 21$ instead of 35$ for the 150ml glass bottle.
7. I’m from Mugwort Sheet Mask
I love the I’m from Mugwort Essence,* it’s such an amazing product when my skin is having a freakout, as often happens now thanks to constant mask-wearing. The I’m from Mugwort Sheet Masks* just seem to me such a great and convenient way to get some extra mugwort goodness into your daily routine, and I’ve really only heard good things about them. They should be great for anyone with sensitised, inflamed or blemish-prone skin! The only thing so far that has kept me from purchasing these is their relatively high price point, but luckily, the I’m from Mugwort Sheet Masks* retail at only 24$ for a 10 pack instead of the usual 40$ (or 2.40$ for a single sheet) – score!
8. Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Essence
I was so happy when Wishtrend added current it-brand Rovectin to their portfolio, and by now I’ve tried a number of their products. You can check out my Rovectin hits and misses article for more info on my experiences with the brand! Now, one of the products I wholeheartedly love is the Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Essence*, a thicker toner with hyaluronic acid, skin-brightening licorice extract, and skin-allrounder niacinamide. This is an intensely hydrating product, amazing for any skin type that suffers from dehydration, and especially good for sensitive skin types due to its gentle, fragrance- and alcohol-free formula. And guess what – you can get this for only 17.40$ instead of 29$ for the large 180ml bottle.
9. Rovectin Clean LHA Blemish Ampoule
Rovectin is on my mind during this Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020, no doubt, and so I also highly recommend the Rovectin Clean LHA Blemish Ampoule*, which now comes in a larger, Wishtrend-exclusive 50ml size. This ampoule contains LHA, a particularly gentle chemical exfoliant, great for sensitive skin that is blemish prone. If you suffer from maskne, this is a great pick! Note, however, that it does contain alcohol, so you need to be ok with that – it doesn’t bother me, and I don’t find this product drying, but it certainly suits people with normal to oily skin better than dry skin peeps. You can purchase the Rovectin Clean LHA Blemish Ampoule* for 21.60$ instead of the regular 36$ for the 50ml ampoule. You can also get the smaller 15ml ampoule* for currently 10.50$ instead of 15$.
10. Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser
Last but most certainly not least: the excellent Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser, which I consider to be one of the best cleansers I’ve tried this year. This is just such a gentle, well-formulated second step cleanser that I believe works for pretty much any skin type. It uses extra gentle surfactants and is of course low-pH, a wonderful non-stripping choice all year round. Stock up on the Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser* during the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale 2020 and get this K-beauty gem for only 10.20$ instead of 17$ for the 175ml. This also doubles as a great gentle body wash, by the way, and all Rovectin products are very unisex-friendly.

Danke Dir.
