Anzeige/Ad The Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream has been a staple in my skincare routine for the past months, and so it’s high time for a full review of this vegan, minimalist K-beauty moisturiser!

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream Review

I so often hear people that aren’t familiar with K-beauty beyond the larger road shop brands claim that it’s impossible to find vegan, natural/organic or cruelty-free products from Korean. And, truly, this couldn’t be further from the truth! In fact, natural and vegan skincare is currently trending in South Korea, with more and more brands offering amazing products often for a fraction of the price compared what we are used to from exclusive, smaller niche brands.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream

When Korean indie brand Vegreen reached out to me to ask if I wanted to test the first two products from this newly launched natural and cruelty-free K-beauty brand, I was of course insta intrigued. They kindly sent over their Fragrance-Free Nature Mucin Serum* and the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream.* Now, I was kind of unsure about the Daily Moisture Cream at first, since it seemed too rich for my combo skin. In all honesty, I was hesitant to try it out for fear of breakouts, but being the conscientious blogger that I am, I of course felt committed to trying it out!

And, well – this cream just really surprised me so much, and I’ve been consistently using it for the past months. As always, let me first tell you a little bit about the brand, plus give you some basic infos about the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream, then share my honest thoughts about this vegan skincare gem.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream – Minimalism Done Right!

Vegreen is a pretty young brand, but the people behind it have been working in the beauty industry for years! For this brand, whose name is a compound of the words “vegetable” and “green”, the focus is on carefully-formulated, gentle skincare made with plant-based, vegan ingredients. Sustainability also lies at the heart of Vegreen, with all products made with eco-friendly packaging: the containers are made from a sugarcane-based material and have removable labels printed with soy ink, and the outer packaging is made from cardboard.

What also instantly struck me when I checked the ingredients for the Fragrance-Free Nature Mucin Serum*(which, by the way, is also lovely!) and the 730 Daily Moisture Cream is how minimalist both INCI lists are! You can tell that these products have really been formulated with great care, meant to work for most skin types, even highly sensitive and reactive skin. They also are pretty great for a gender-free and/or unisex beauty routine, thanks to the neutral packaging and marketing.

Here is the list of ingredients for the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream:

“Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Squalane, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyglyceryl-2 Stearate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Stearyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Arginine, Caprylyl Glycol.”

Like all Vegreen products, the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream is free from any fragrance – including no added essential oils – or potentially drying alcohol. We all know I’m ok with a bit of ethanol and co. in my skincare, but many of you prefer to stay away from it, so this is good news especially for sensitive skin types.

The formula is basically a minimalist mix of “water-grabbing”, hydrating humectants, among them trusty glycerin, emollient fatty alcohols (the “good” alcohols!), and super moisturising squalane. Amino acid arginine is potentially collagen-boosting and is often added to Korean skincare.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream – Wait, Am I… In Love with This?!

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream K-beauty review

When I did my initial unboxing of the two Vegreen goodies on my Instagram I expressed my reservations regarding the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream: I was happy to try it out, but suspected it would be too rich for my oilier combo skin. If you have followed me for a while you will know that very rich, nourishing creams tend to make me break out – those heavier textures usually overwhelm my skin and can feel suffocating. So, I was guarded and honestly a bit nervous when I first tried out the Daily Moisture Cream!

But…um…I love this?! First of all: the cream isn’t heavy at all, it actually has a lovely, grease-free lotion texture. I suspected this when I first tried it on the back of my hand, but only fully realised how comfortable the formula is even on my oilier skin days when I used it on my face overnight.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream texture

As mentioned above, the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream is formulated without added fragrance, and it really doesn’t have a scent at all I would say. It sinks into skin easily, leaving no residue like some of the other natural brand creams sometimes can.

The texture is this melty, milky deliciousness – very simple, but in the best way possible. I can see this being such a great moisturiser choice for people with sensitive skin, and I myself tend to grab this on days when my skin is just kind of out of balance or stressed out.

Vegreen Daily Moisture Cream blog review

At first I used the 730 Daily Moisture Cream mostly at night, but especially on colder days I also really like this as a day time moisturiser. It is so surprising to me how much I love this, after I initially was so unsure about the product. You can see in the images below (the first two in this article were from when I first opened the cream!) how much of the tube I’ve already used up – I really grab this so often these days, what with allergy season wrecking my poor skin barrier and causing all sorts of inflammation issues.

If you are wondering about the finish: well, basically the cream just sinks into skin fully, not leaving too much of a shine or super dewy finish. This is why I think it works great as a universal moisturiser for most skin types, as it just gives you healthy looking, well moisturised skin without any flashiness. I appreciate those types of products so much, and really wish more people would realise that this is actually what K-beauty does so, so well!

Come to think of it, the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream reminds me a lot of my favourite European pharmacy moisturisers, who are formulated to really just do their job in a fuss-free, reliable and straight-forward way, with minimal risk of upsetting the skin barrier. If you are looking for a cream that keeps your skin supple, moisturised and healthy, this is such a great choice! My skin always feels soothed, protected and happy after I use it, and I haven’t had any problems with breakouts, clogged pores or similar.

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream – the Bottom Line

Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream sensitive skin

After first feeling apprehensive about this potentially being too heavy for my skin type, the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream turned out to be a surprise hit! I have been using this gentle, minimalist K-beauty moisturiser for a few weeks, nay months now, and would absolutely get another tube after finishing this one. The cream just works so well for sensitised skin, leaving it calm and well-cared for without causing a fuss, and I appreciate the eco-conscious, animal-friendly approach of the brand.

I would say if you are looking for a gentle, skin barrier respecting and protecting moisturiser that just works, and particularly if your skin is on the sensitive side, this could be a great choice for you! Also, it’s a great one to have if you prefer products with unisex marketing, and I think men’s skin will do very well with this cream!

So, where can you buy the Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream? Well, you can either check out the Vegreen web shop, where the 50ml tube currently retails at 15.60$. You can also find this at Amazon* for currently 15.56$, or at the Eu-based Coos webshop for currently 17.60€.

Let me know in the comments: Have you tried any Vegreen products yet? What do you look for in a moisturiser?

Take care guys, and stay safe – don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest K-Beauty and skincare news, and check out my other articles, e.g. my review of the Heimish Moisture Surge gel cream, another K-beauty treat!
